Its bit of a generality saying 20 - 40 years,although generally true tinnitus can and does occur in people below and above those age limits

Do you know why it would be more prevelant in people between those ages? What causes tinnitus to begin with. I am not sure on a lot of things and would like to know.

I think the loud music and clubs most of the younger people go into causes it, while with the older persons its just occurs naturally.
