Tinnitus is that uncomfortable ringing, whizzing, or buzzing sound hear either in the head or the ears. Some also describe tinnitus as the absence of sound around them.

For me, it seems like a long ring , like someone is holding down one of the number keys on a phone, it drives me crazy.
