I found this in my travels and thought it very useful and so I have posted it up here to help or inform others

Set your alarm clock to soft music in the morning instead of a screeching alarm clock - better yet, have someone wake you gently.

Refrain from loud noise, water running, toilets flushing, tv's, radio's
etc., etc. for the first 30-45 minutes or so after waking up, then return to normal sound levels.

If your T cranks up in the car on the way to work don't worry, this is
normal...If your T cranks up during work or under stress , dont worry, this is normal...it will go back down

Dont keep a T diary

Enjoy everything as far as food is concerned

On bad ear days, dont push yourself so hard. Kick back a little, grab a
book, turn on the tv, crawl under an afghan, go fishing, tell the world to go
to hell for a few hours and just relax.

Try not to take naps...nothing aggrevates tinnitus like naps - we're not
sure why.

Avoid extremely loud places and noises

Accept, be patient, let time pass. If your religious a few prayers may help..

It's been proven, and I've read it somewhere that naps do trigger tinnitus. So for all people who has this disease, be sure to follow what Barry here had suggested. Doing these will help you ease the sensation.
